Meet the Grower

Hi, I’m Shayla, the heart behind Snook’s Blooms.

I never set out to build a big flower business. What I really wanted was a life that felt a little slower, a life where I could be present for the little moments, spend more time with my family, work with my hands, and create something beautiful right here at home.

Somewhere along the way, that dream started growing in the garden.

Flowers have become so much more than something I grow. They’ve taught me to slow down, to be patient, to try again when something doesn’t work, and to let go of the idea that everything has to be perfect. They pulled me through a difficult season of life and gave me something to look forward to, something to nurture, and something that brought joy back into my everyday.

And I think that’s part of why I love giving flowers to other people so much.

Sometimes flowers say all the things we don’t quite know how to say ourselves.

That’s what I hope to create here at Snook’s Blooms , flowers that feel personal, thoughtful, and like a little piece of the season you can hold in your hands.

I grow many of the flowers I use right here in my own field, and every season is different. There are successes, surprises, weeds, weather, bugs, muddy shoes, and plenty of trial and error. I love that part, too. There’s something special about learning what grows best in my little corner of Pennsylvania and letting the garden teach me along the way.

When you choose Snook’s Blooms, you’re supporting more than a small business. You’re supporting a family, a dream, and a slower way of doing things. You’re helping me build a life where I can be present for my family while creating something I genuinely love.
